Management Team

As CEO of Rennova Health, Inc. Mr. Lagan brings over 20 years' experience in the restructuring, development and management of startup and small companies in both the private and public sector. The company secured the services of Seamus Lagan through a consultancy agreement with Alcimede LLC. and was initially retained by Medytox Solutions, Inc. in May 2011.  His role was to find a new business opportunity for the Company and he has been instrumental in forming the structure of and securing the funding for the Corporation to develop its business plan. Mr. Lagan was the CEO of the two main Subsidiaries of Medytox Solutions, Inc. since their inception; one that managed the sales and marketing efforts of the Company and the other that completed the acquisitions and development of the Company's Clinical Laboratories. It is with Mr. Lagan's guidance, expertise and practical approach to business that has allowed the company to grow into what we now know as 'Rennova Health, Inc', after the merger in late 2015 with Nasdaq listed CollabRx, Inc.

Sebastien Sainsbury brings over 25 years' experience in investment banking and wealth management with Bankers Trust Co., Lehman Brothers, USB AG Private Bank and was appointed to the AIG International Ltd. Board of Directors. Mr. Sainsbury has been regulated in the United Kingdom by the FSA/SFA and has been a seed investor and board member in startup companies ranging from food manufacturing and distribution to software development since 2002. Mr. Sainsbury heads investment development and public relations for the corporation. Mr. Sainsbury holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from INSEAD.

Thomas is responsible for all IT infrastructure and software solutions, including design, development, testing, and support for all products and services provided by Rennova HTS. He has 25+ years of experience in Software Engineering and Information Technology. He began as a software engineer and researcher with a focus on machine learning, then discovered his passion for managing and empowering highly technical people. Thomas has worked at large companies including Siemens, Microsoft and Citrix Systems, which gave him valuable experience with large-scale software development and international project management. Thomas is a multi-cultural leader with a passion for both people and technology, with deep experience in operational excellence and systemic optimization. He graduated from Technical University Munich in 1986 with a Ph.D in Computer Science and holds several patents.

Karen Taylor has 20 years business operations and management experience.  She is responsible for implementing human resource management strategies that enable Rennova Health to recruit, train, and retain a high performing and motivated workforce. Karen specializes in talent management, employee relations strategies,  benefits programs, training and development and leadership development. Ms. Taylor holds a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Human Resources Management and a Master's degree in Leadership.

Kristi Dymond brings over 18 years’ financial experience to the Rennova Health Team. Prior to joining Rennova in 2014, Kristi worked in her family business in the funeral industry overseeing the daily operations of the firm and managing all financial activities and prepaid trust accounts. She also spent three years working for a non-profit organization as a bookkeeper. Kristi attended Florida Atlantic University.  Her main role in Rennova Health is to manage accounts payable and oversee cash management for Rennova and its subsidiaries.  She also maintains a system of policies and procedures that impose a valuable level of control over financial activities within the company.

Rebecca Lagan is Marketing Manager at Rennova Health, Inc., with responsibility for all marketing activities of Rennova, its brands and its subsidiaries.  Along with her knowledge of technology and process refinement, and how they go hand in hand with all major marketing efforts, Rebecca brings enthusiasm and a young energy to the Rennova team.  She previously spent one year at Rennova as an intern from Sept 2014 to Aug 2015.

With marketing experience in both the United States and the United Kingdom, Rebecca has worked as Marketing Manager overseeing the marketing activities of four companies operating within the retail, hospitality, construction and fuel distribution industry in Northern Ireland.  She has also worked as a Market Research Consultant for Ulster University, Northern Ireland, working closely with CTRIC (Clinical Translational Research and Innovation Centre) in the development of medical devices and other projects. Areas of market research included market analysis, consumer research, product development and refinement and the proposal of market entry strategies.

Rebecca holds a Master's Degree in Marketing, Bachelor's Degree in Business with Computing and a Diploma in international professional practice from Ulster University, Northern Ireland, where she received a number of awards for overall top performance.

Dr. Angel Giraldez is the Interim Chief Executive Officer at Jamestown Regional Medical Center and oversees all compliance activities for our hospital division.   Dr. Giraldez received his Master’s in Business Administration in 2012 from Florida International University, Miami, FL, after having previously completed studies at Purdue University, Kaiser University and Miami Dade Junior College.

He began his career within the Healthcare Industry as a Managing Partner in 1987 in Doctor Care HMO before acting as Vice President and President in Medical Practices. More recently Dr. Angel Giraldez has acted as President / CEO at Palm Springs General Hospital in 2015 before becoming an Independent Healthcare Consultant.

Cathal McGuckin focuses on the Business Development of Rennova Health’s hospital division, with the responsibility of analyzing daily operations within the hospital and concentrating on process refinement, while looking for new areas of growth within the businesses.  Prior to joining Rennova, Cathal worked as a Retail Store Manager, managing a team of thirty five staff and overseeing the daily operations of the business.  Cathal was responsible for implementing new services to achieve overall company growth leading to an increase in business sales by 9% year on year.  Cathal’s previous position enabled him to heavily focus on the digitization of processes, providing full visibility of all departments for management.

Cathal holds a Master's Degree in Business Development and Innovation and a Bachelor's Degree in Transport Planning and a Diploma in International Professional Practice from Ulster University, Northern Ireland.
